As pet lovers, we often find ourselves worrying about pets getting lost. We've created a 7-panel manga featuring an innocent dog named HANA, so please take a look.

―Why did we start this project?

Looking at my dog, HANA, I couldn't shake the anxiety of "what if she gets lost... and no one protects her...".
pet-key is a project to create a new habit of "protecting with a simple tap of a smartphone."
If this habit doesn't spread, achieving zero lost pets won't be possible.
That's why we started this project.

 

― Reasons why pets with collars still can't get home

When pets get lost, there are many cases where they can't return home even with a collar on. Pet tags often have small text, which can be unreadable due to dirt, scratches, or in dark places, making it difficult for rescuers to find contact information. We adopted a system where simply tapping a smartphone on the tag automatically displays AI voice guidance (reading out standard phrases), pet information, and owner information, without needing an app. This makes it easy to confirm information, and ensures that necessary information is conveyed instantly, even at night or in the rain, allowing rescuers to act without hesitation.

The goal of pet-key is to create a system where "anyone present can help a lost pet." No special knowledge or app installation is required. Simply tap your smartphone on the collar's engraved part, and the pet's information and owner's contact details will automatically display. You can confirm information regardless of the environment, without having to search for text or worry about operations.

Usage is very simple.
If you find a lost pet on the street, first observe it calmly. Then, simply tap your smartphone on the pet-key collar, and the pet's information and owner's contact details will appear on the screen.

Colors include red, black, and camel, which are easy to match with any pet.

Hardware is available in two types: round and square, with material colors of real gold and nickel.
